Law Enforcers Urge Community to Help Solve Crimes in Cotabato City

In the recent City Peace and Order Council Meeting, the local government unit of Cotabato City was given a briefing of all the significant crimes that transpired in the past weeks—latest of which is the kidnapping of Jinky Lim Tan, a businesswoman.

Questions were also raised as to what the authorities have already done in order to rescue the victim and give justice to all the other victims of different crimes in the city. Lt. Col. Doroteo Jose Jalandoni, 



Cotabato City Tourism Promotion Board Formed

Contest for Cotabato City Brand Name and Awit ng Cotabato

As part of the preparation for the upcoming Araw ng Cotabato this June, the local government unit is holding a contest for the composition of the Awit ng Cotabato City and the creation of the city’s brand name.

This will be open to all Cotabatenos who are interested to be part of the competition and give honor to our beloved city.



Cotabato City to Observe Chinese New Year

International Monitoring Team Visit

Cotabato City—Two representatives from the new batch of delegates from the International Monitoring Team paid a courtesy visit to Cotabato City Mayor Japal Guiani, Jr., Thursday.

Six Brunei delegates led by Team Site 1 leader Lt. Col. Hasmi Bin Abd Wahab arrived in Cotabato City last September 2, 2010 as part of the IMT-7. The group will be deployed in different parts of the provinces of Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Cotabato City.
